Weekend Weather Change Brings Cooler Temps, Rain

The record-breaking high temperatures make way for more seasonable weather.

The tri-state's summer tease is officially over, as temps fall back into the 50s and 60s Saturday.  Even though it will feel much cooler in comparison to this week, it will still be well above our average high temperature of 52. Later tonight, some rain with an approaching storm rolls into the area, but most of the rain should be gone by mid-day Sunday.

Here's the five day forecast:

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and cooler with a few showers late in the day. High of 62. Tonight, expect clouds with periods of rain and some fog and a low in the 40s.

SUNDAY: Early-morning showers will taper off by the afternoon, and it will remain partly cloudy with a high of 61.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and windy with a high of 59.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and much cooler, high of 61.
