A woman has died after being struck by a city bus in Midtown while crossing the street near Central Park, officials said.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was attempting to cross the street at 59th Street and Seventh Avenue near Central Park South when MTA's X1 express bus to Staten Island struck her, authorities said.
The woman was taken to Roosevelt Hospital in critical condition. She later died, police said.
No charges have been filed. Police are investigating.
