A window washer fell off a third-story ledge on the Upper East Side and died Monday morning, according to the NYPD.
The man, 57, was washing a window at a building on East 81st Street between Lexington and Park Avenues at about 11:45 a.m. when he fell to his death, police said.
The man, whose identity hasn't yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not clear what caused the man to fall.
