A tree branch fell from about six stories high Thursday and injured a teen girl and an elderly man in Brooklyn.

Police say the huge branch fell at the Ingersoll Housing Development in Fort Greene around 3 p.m. Thursday.

It struck the man and the 17-year-old girl in the head.

Residents said both were bleeding heavily.

Patrician Wallace told the New York Post "there was blood everywhere."

Their conditions were not immediately known.

It wasn't clear what caused the branch to collapse.
