A 19-year-old Queens man was killed in a crash on the Grand Central Parkway in Kew Gardens late Thursday night, police say.

The driver was going westbound in the middle lane of the parkway behind another vehicle near Union Turnpike and tried to change lanes, according to police. As he did so, he rear-ended the car in front of him, which caused him to lose control, hit a metal guardrail and overturn onto the roadway.

The victim, identified as Andy Ramdhanie of Hollis, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The occupants in the car that was hit -- a 57-year-old woman, a 23-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man -- were taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center with minor neck and back pain, police said.
