A 40-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested Thursday, accused of taking photos of a young girl he did not know inside an apartment building hallway Monday night.

It happened inside a building in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn at about 11:15 p.m. Monday, police said.

Responding officers arrested David Zimmer at the scene and later charged him with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.

The girl was nine years old, police said.

Anyone who knows of any child who may have been in contact with Zimmer, pictured, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com.
