Authorities are seeking a suspect who allegedly shot at uniformed police officers in Queens early Saturday.

The suspect, shown above in an image taken from a surveillance camera, was chasing another man and firing a gun at him on Lamont Avenue in Elmhurst at around 2 a.m., according to officials.

An NYPD sergeant and police officer on patrol ordered the suspect to drop his gun, police said, and the suspect turned and fired toward them before fleeing.

A $12,000 reward has been offered for information that could help lead to the suspect's arrest and conviction, police say.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
