Suspect Sought in Deadly East Harlem Stabbing

Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed two people, one of them fatally, in East Harlem Friday morning. 

Officers were called to the front of 2371 2nd Ave. at about 5:45 a.m. for a report of a man stabbed, police said. There, they found a 36-year-old man with stab wounds to the the torso and a 48-year-old woman with a stab wound to the wrist. 

The man was taken to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as Gerardo Madera of the Bronx. 

The woman was taken to Metropolitan Hospital where's she listed in stable condition, police said. 

Police are searching for Carlos Molina, 56, in the deadly stabbing. He's described as about 5 feet 5 inches and 135 pounds, with a tattoo design around his neck and a tattoo of a woman on his arm.
