Man Bites, Punches Brooklyn Traffic Agent: Cops

Authorities say the man assaulted the 27-year-old agent near Brighton Beach and Coney Island avenues

Police are looking for the man who allegedly punched and bit a traffic agent in Brooklyn last week.

Authorities say the man assaulted the 27-year-old agent near Brighton Beach and Coney Island avenues at about 8 p.m. Friday and then ran off.

The agent sustained minor injuries. It wasn't immediately known what provoked the incident.

The suspect is described as being about 25 to 30 years old and 5 feet 11 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black shorts and dark sneakers.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted online.
