Snow showers are moving into the tri-state area Monday night, delivering a coating to an inch and a half for most of the region.

The storm will end as flurries on Tuesday, likely through the morning commute. The snow could cause some slippery spots on roads and sidewalks.

The flakes were expected to begin falling at around midnight.

The low overnight is forecast to be 25 degrees.

Tuesday's high is forecast at 35 degrees, while Wednesday is a bit warmer at 38 degrees.
