1 Dead, 1 Wounded in Shooting Outside NJ Nightclub

One person died and another was wounded in a shooting near a popular nightclub in Elizabeth, N.J., early Friday, police say.
Gunfire erupted outside the club Coco Bongo near North Broad and Mary streets at about 3 a.m. Hours earlier, the club had been packed with people attending a party sponsored by Girls Gone Wild.
It wasn't immediately clear what prompted the shooting. The victims' identities weren't available.
The investigation is ongoing.
Last year, a 19-year-old woman died in a shooting in the same area. A female gang member was arrested in connection with her death.
