Staten Island Man Arrested in Manhattan Subway Sex Abuse

Samuel Mangum has been charged with sex abuse.

A Staten Island man has been arrested in a Manhattan subway sex abuse case, police said.      

Authorities charged Samuel Mangum, 50, with third-degree sex abuse in the Nov. 10 sexual assault at the subway station at Broadway and Houston.      

Police allege Mangum walked up behind the 40-year-old victim as she stood on the platform, sexually assaulted her and fled.

The name of his attorney was not immediately known.
