A 13-year-old Queens girl was sexually assaulted in her apartment building’s elevator Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.
A man followed the teen onto the elevator at the South Jamaica Housing Development about 7:30 a.m. that morning. Then, while the elevator was moving, he assaulted her.
Once the elevator reached the girl’s floor, she screamed for help. That’s when the man ran away.
Police are still looking for the man. If you have information on the man’s whereabouts or you know anything about the incident, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS or www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
