Prosecutors say the assistant principal of a northern New Jersey high school inappropriately touched a teenager who was living in his home.
Bail was set at $100,000 cash for 55-year-old Roger Schneider of Rockaway Township, who was charged Saturday with child endangerment and aggravated criminal sexual contact. It wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
Schneider is the assistant principal at Roxbury High School. Morris County prosecutors say the teenager was 15 when the incidents occurred and is not a student in the Roxbury district. Further details were not released.
The teenager disclosed the incidents to another person this week, prosecutors said.
The teenager lived part-time at Schneider's home from August 2013 to January 2015 with the consent of the child's parents, prosecutors said.
