Pace University Admin Arrested on Child Porn Charges

An administrator at Pace University has been arrested on child pornography charges in an online sting.

The Westchester district attorney's office said Wednesday that 62-year-old David Watson was arrested Tuesday when he showed up at a motel in Elmsford with photos of children in suggestive poses.

He allegedly arranged a meeting at the motel with someone he thought would also be interested in the photos. Authorities say he had actually been chatting online with an undercover investigator.

Prosecutors said more child porn was found after a search of Watson's home, vehicle and storage locker.

Watson's lawyer did not immediately return a call.

Pace said Watson was placed on administrative leave from his job as director of cultural events.
