A former pastor from northern New Jersey who is already serving time for the sexual assault of an underage church parishioner is facing more time behind bars.

The Record of Woodland Park reports a jury on Thursday convicted Curtis Franklin of having sex with another underage parishioner decades ago.

Franklin, who was an assistant pastor at Mahwah Full Gospel Church, was found guilty of having sex with a church member for years in the 1990's, when the girl was 12.

He is currently serving an 8-year sentence after being convicted in 2012 for sexually assaulting an underage parishioner starting when she was 15. Franklin is 22 years older than the first victim.

The 46-year-old married father of two faces an additional 10 years on each count.
