A naked man sitting on the roof of his car in the middle of Interstate 95 in Connecticut during rush hour caused extensive traffic delays Tuesday as gawkers rolled slowly by the bizarre scene, authorities said.
State police say they responded to a call for a medical assist on the southbound side of the highway near exit 42 at about 8:30 a.m.
Police blocked off the highway for a time and traffic was only getting by on the right shoulder; some drivers snapped photos as they crawled past.
State police spokesman Trooper Kelly Grant said troopers brought the man to a local hospital for evaluation.
