NJ Man Accused of Impersonating NYPD Cop for Free Sex

NJ Man Accused of Impersonating NYPD Cop for Free Sex

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in New York City for allegedly posing as a police officer while threatening prostitutes with arrest if they did not perform sexual acts for free.      

Warren Taylor of Bushkill, N.J., was charged with criminal impersonation of a police officer, criminal sex act, patronizing a prostitute and other charges.      

Information about his lawyer was not immediately available.      

The NYPD says Taylor is accused in four separate incidents in Queens and Manhattan during January and February.      

Police say in one incident the suspect struck a woman in the face, causing bruising.
