The NYPD says officers are looking for a man who walked up to a steam roller in the middle of the day and drove off with it in full view of a surveillance camera.
Police said it was shortly before noon Thursday when the man entered a parking lot on East Gun Hill Road in the Bronx and made off with the heavy-duty equipment. According to the NYPD, the incident qualifies as grand larceny.
The authorities are asking that anyone with information call the police hot line at 800-577-TIPS.
