Queens Teacher Charged in Online Relationship: Police

A Queens teacher was arrested Wednesday after allegedly having an online relationship with a girl, according to the NYPD.

The teacher, 33-year-old Monsur Khan, was charged multiple crimes, including attempted, rape, attempted aggravated sexual abuse and attempted disseminating indecent material to a minor.

Police said the girl was not one of Khan's students, but it wasn't clear if she went to the Queens school where he worked. 

Police say the relationship began in February

Attorney information for the man wasn’t immediately available.
