Police Search for Suspect in Brooklyn Groping

Police are searching for a man who they say groped a woman outside of her Brooklyn home.

The man allegedly followed the woman into the lobby of her Williamsburg building on the afternoon of April 18.

While the woman checked her mail, police say the suspect pressed the elevator button and waited for her to get inside.

The woman, who was suspicious of the man, didn't get on the elevator. He then attempted to strike up a conversation with her and she left the building, police said.

The man continued to follow her outside, where he allegedly grabbed her rear end and ran away, according to police.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
