Armed Men With Umbrellas Tie up Employees, Rob Nail Supply Shop: NYPD

Two armed men tied up employees and left them in a basement while robbing a nail supply shop in the Bronx, police said.

The robbers targeted T’s Nail Supply in Westchester Square earlier this month while two employees were on shift.

The two men entered the shop around 2:30 p.m. wearing masks and hoods and carrying two umbrellas. One of the men pulled out a gun and pointed it at one of the employees as he demanded cash, surveillance video shows.

The 27-year-old man and 49-year-old woman working at the time handed over money from a cash register before the robbers forced them into the basement, where they tied them up and left them.

The suspects went back upstairs and took more money from a second cash register and then took off.
