NJ Library Employee Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography

A New Jersey librarian was living a life of fantasy -- in the most perverted way possible, officials said.

Joseph Buckelew III, who worked in the East Brunswick Library's youth section, was arrested Tuesday for possession of child porn, federal officials said.

The 19-year-old man allegedly pretended to be a woman online, flirting with young teenage boys and asking them to send him naked photos of themselves, the feds said. After convincing some 14 to 16-year-old boys to send him photos, Buckelew posted the images online and exchanged them with others via "peer-to-peer" file sharing software, officials said.

Buckelew, who is charged with one count of possession of child pornography (is that it?), faces a maximum of 10 years in prison if convicted.

Authorities ask that anyone who may have additional information regarding this case to call the Newark Division of the FBI at (973) 792-3000.
