The ex-husband of a missing 55-year-old woman found dead under a blanket in a Bronx business was discovered dead in the same building Thursday, authorities say.
Authorities did not immediately release the name of the man. They had been looking to question him in the death of Djamila Requieghmuda, who was found with head trauma in her ex's home and business early Thursday.
The Brooklyn woman's daughter had reported her missing the day before.
Police say they discovered her ex's body in the same building at some time Thursday as they canvassed the area for evidence. It's not clear how he died, nor did police immediately say if they were investigating the case as a murder-suicide.
The medical examiner has yet to rule on a cause of death for Requieghmuda, but officials say she was the victim of a homicide.
Law enforcement sources had said the ex-husband had no history of domestic violence arrests in the city. He had one prior arrest and that matter is sealed.
