‘Miracle on the Hudson' Now Part of Harbor Tour

Tourists cruise over the spot where Sully landed US Airways Flight 1549

Passengers on New York Waterway harbor cruises are seeing more than the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building these days.

The tour now features the story of US Airways Capt. Chesley Sullenberger's heroic landing on the river on Jan. 15 after his airplane's engines were knocked out by geese. All 155 passengers aboard survived.

Tourists cruise over the spot where Sully landed US Airways Flight 1549, as they learn about New York's other main attractions like the Brooklyn Bridge.

At the end of the tour, a video presentation compiles TV news footage and pictures from that day. It emphasizes the bravery of New York Waterway workers who were among the first to reach the downed plane and start rescuing people.
