Police are looking for a man who stole a hoverboard from three young men at gunpoint Friday on a Long Island college campus.
The victims, a 20-year-old and two 19-year-olds, were walking on South Apple Road at SUNY Old Westbury when a tan minivan or small SUV stopped next to them, police said.
A man with a gold grill on his lower teeth got out of the van and took out a gun, demanding the victims’ hoverboard, according to police.
The victims handed over the hoverboard and the suspect fled in the car, which another person was driving.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a red, white and gray sweater. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
