A man was fatally shot in Midtown early Saturday morning, police said.
Officers found a Terrance Walker with a gunshot wound near 40th Street and 6th Avenue at 2:34 a.m., authorities said. The 27-year-old was shot once in the torso.
Paramedics pronounced Walker dead at the scene, police said.
Authorities said the suspect is unknown, and there are no arrests at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
