Emergency repairs work near the Holland Tunnel has been completed earlier than expected, clearing the way for traffic to resume normally through the area.
The westbound New Jersey Turnpike Hudson Bay Extension is back open after repairs were completed.
The NJ Turnpike Authority said a hole was discovered on the ramp that leads to the extension.
The work was expected to last overnight, but was completed by early Tuesday evening.
