Six people were injured in a fire that raged at a two-story Queens home early Monday morning, the FDNY says.

Crews fought the fire at the home in Elmhurst for about an hour before they were able to bring the blaze under control.

One woman suffered cardiac arrest in the fire and is in serious condition at Elmhurst Hospital. A man, taken to Cornell Hospital, was seriously burned. Four other people at the home suffered minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it is under investigation, the department says.
