9 Hurt in Bronx House Fire: FDNY

Nine people were hurt in a blaze at a two story home in the Bronx Monday morning, the FDNY says.

The two-alarm fire broke out in basement and first floor of the home in the Bruckner section of the borough just after 4 a.m., the department says. The fire was brought under control about 5:45 a.m.

Two of the people were critically injured in the blaze. Three others were seriously hurt and four people sustained minor injuries, the FDNY says. Each person hurt was a resident at the home.
