Authorities are looking for the owner of a friendly and "very well behaved" pit bull mix that hopped onto a Staten Island bus.
The lively female pooch joined about 15 to 20 passengers Wednesday aboard the S-94 bus. A video shows her walking back and forth on the last row of seats, looking out the windows and eagerly wagging her tail.
A man says "Good puppy! Good girl!" and she responds with a "woof!"
MTA spokesman Charles Seaton described the dog, a white pup with dark ears and a brownish spot over one eye, as "very playful." He said she showered transit workers with kisses.
Animal Care & Control officials told the Staten Island Advance the dog has a tracking microchip, but it was never activated. They're taking care of her until they're able to identify her owner.
