Police are asking for the public's help while investigating the shooting death of a New York City livery cab driver.

The cabbie was shot in the torso after getting into a dispute with two male passengers in the Bronx, police said.

The shooting occurred at 1:40 p.m. Sunday while the Toyota Camry was parked in the Kingsbridge Heights neighborhood.

The 48-year-old driver, Cesar Santos of the Bronx, was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The suspects are described as about 18 to 20 years old. Police have released a video that shows one of the suspects sitting in the taxi's back seat. A view of the other suspect is obstructed by a headrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
