Police are looking to question the son of a 64-year-old woman who appears to have been beaten to death inside her Bronx apartment, law enforcement officials say.

Magda Dagostino was found dead in her bed with a hammer near her body.

She was discovered with a pillow over her head, which appeared to have sustained trauma, sources said. 

Police were looking to question Dagastino's 39-year-old son. Family members said he had been living with her for a while.

She was found dead by police, who were called to the Bronx home by the victim's grandson, who grew concerned after he had not heard from her for a few days.
