Minor Injuries Reported After Boats "Bump" Off S.I.

Authorities say four people were hurt when two boats bumped into one another on the Atlantic Ocean just off Staten Island.

The Coast Guard said a pilot was being transferred from a large ocean vessel into a pilot boat near Sandy Hook when the two boats "bumped."

Three people were treated for minor injuries at the scene, and another person was taken to a local hospital.

The pilot was responsible for bringing the large vessel into the port, the Coast Guard says.
