Police say a woman has been arrested in the shooting death of another woman outside a New York City public housing complex where five mayoral candidates recently spent a night.

Police on Wednesday said Michele Graham was charged with murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the death of 23-year-old Olivia Brown.

Brown was hospitalized after gunfire early Tuesday at the Lincoln Houses complex in Harlem. Police say she died later that day.

Police have said she apparently quarreled with another woman before the shooting.

Democratic candidates Bill de Blasio, John Liu, Christine Quinn, Bill Thompson and Anthony Weiner stayed with different families in the complex Saturday night. They were there to examine mold, holes in walls and other issues.
