Times Square Stabbing Marks 2 Violent Incidents Within 24 Hours

Authorities said two people were stabbed near the Port Authorits Bus Terminal early Sunday morning.

It's the second violent event to happen in the Times Square area within 24 hours.

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing near 234 W. 42nd Street at 2:26 a.m., authorities said.

Fire officials said the two victims were taken to Bellevue Hospital in serious condition for stab wounds.

Authorities said the victims are "both alive".

The potential suspects are a man and woman, police said. It's believed that the suspects and the victims are familiar with each other.

There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers found Terrance Walker, 27, with a gunshot wound to the torso near Bryant Park in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
