The uptown rush hour was thrown into disarray this afternoon when a B train struck a passenger.
The A, B, C, and D trains are now experiencing delays and suspensions north of 59th Street/Columbus Circle, officials said.
The Bronx-bound B train was at Frederick Douglass Boulevard and West 116th Street when it hit the unidentified person at about 5:20 p.m., authorities said.
B and C service was suspended in both directions and there was no A or D service north of 59th.
Officials said the struck passenger died at the scene, and law-enforcement sources believed that it may have been a suicide.
Just after 7 p.m. officials said normal service had resumed with residual delays.
