Ambulance Called to Gosselin Home on “Family Day”

Jon's relative injured during "family day" over the weekend

A day of relaxation for Jon Gosselin and his kids turned tense when an ambulance was called to the home of the reality TV family over Labor Day Weekend.

The reality TV dad -- who splits time at the sprawling Wernersville, Pa., estate with soon-to-be-ex-wife Kate -- said his elderly grandmother took a spill in the driveway during a family gathering with his eight children on Saturday, according to People.com.

"Just to clear up any faulty reports: my grandmother did in fact fall in my driveway but she'll [be] fine," Jon wrote on his Twitter page Sunday morning according to People.com.

"Thank you for all of the concerned calls."

An ambulance and a squad car from Lower Heidelberg township were called to the residence Saturday afternoon, cops told the magazine.

"I received a dispatch to go there, an elderly female fell," a cop told People. "She was transported to a local hospital."

The source could describe the nature of the woman's injuries.

The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star was spending time with his young children and surrounded by extended family members at the time of the incident.

"Family day!" Jon tweeted earlier in the weekend. "Kids got to play with their grandparents, great grandparents...so great to see so many generations together."

Cops were summoned to the Pennsylvania house in mid-August when Jon and Kate reportedly became embroiled a shouting match.
