Actress Kristen Stewart said "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1" was originally racier.
"Twilight" for adults only?
According to series star Kristen Stewart, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1" was at one time too racy for minors.
"It was so weird, it didn't even feel like we were doing a 'Twilight' film. I was like, 'Bella! What are you doing? Wow! What is happening here?!'" the 21-year-old actress told the UK edition of Glamour in its December issue, when asked about the movie's sex scenes.
"It was very surreal. We [originally] got rated R. They re-cut it," she explained of the movie, which also stars boyfriend Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.
As for filming the movie's pivotal wedding scene between Bella and Edward, the actress told the mag that it was top secret affair.
"I had to be shrouded in secrecy the entire two days of filming," she said. "It was crazy… I was on full lockdown, as if I was wearing millions of dollars' worth of diamonds."
"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1" hits theaters on November 18, 2011.
