Rodarte Dresses Johnny Weir in Custom Knits

Ryan McGinley shot one of the most innovative Olympics features we've yet seen for The New York Times, featuring several medal hopefuls wearing custom Rodarte knit pieces.

Needless to say, judging by the rather lofty price range of the men's knits Rodarte recently unveiled for Opening Ceremony, we've got to imagine that these 13 custom outfits (Weir's is a full-body crochet jumpsuit) would fetch top dollar if they ever reached the open market.

According to WWD, Olympians featured in the editorial include Evan Lysacek, snowboarders Hannah Teter and Kelly Clark, ski jumper Anders Johnson, and pairs skaters Keauna McLaughlin and Rockne Brubaker, among others. Needless to say, we'll be picking up our issue of the Times as soon as it drops this Sunday.
