Alongside the scores of runway shows scheduled to take place next month, R.J. Cutler, director of last summer's Vogue-focused documentary "The Septmember Issue" will be presenting his newest fashion-foward effort: a documentary on Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, the designers behind label Rag & Bone.
Today WWD reports that the short documentary, which follows the two designers as they prepare for their fall 2010 runway show earlier this year, will premier on September 8 at the Crosby Hotel's cinema room, followed by a Q&A with Cutler himself. Afterwards, the film will be available online at the Rag & Bone website as well as on sponsor Starbucks' website.
From last year's "The September Issue" and "Valentino: The Last Emperor," to the upcoming hour-long Fashion's Night Out special scheduled to air on CBS on September 14, this latest craze for fashion-driven documentaries seems to have made them the reality tv of the film world—only better-dressed.
