Parsons The New School for Design in New York City is expanding its teaching presence in Paris.
A new program—which will be taught exclusively in English—caters to students seeking bachelor's or master's degrees in a variety of design fields. The curriciulum—touted for its multi-disciplinary approach to design—will mirror that of the one taught on the New York campus, WWD reports.
Housed in an historic buliding at 45 rue Saint-Rock, the program is an expansion of the existing Parsons Paris program—the school being among the first academic art institutions to establish a Paris satellite location back in 1921.
The school reportedly has its sights set on more global projects in the coming years, specifically in Mumbai and Shanghai.
