Following up on his win as "Best New Menswear Designer in America" (a competition co-spoonsored by GQ and the CFDA), Billy Reid has created Levi's Workwear by Billy Reid. The line drops at Bloomingdale's and Billy Reid boutiques September 14, with a special kick-off celebration at the Billy Reid store, appropriately scheduled for the same night as Fashion's Night Out, September 10.

The 10-piece collection, which retails between $45-$295, derives its inspiration from the Levi's archives, specifically, a weathered workwear apron that served as a "true" muse" for the designer, WWD reports. Reid, who lives in Alabama, conceived with the California-based denim brand a "Calabama" graphic for a T-shirt in the collection, no doubt summing up in one hip new word the down-home Southern and west coast Americana vibe of the duds.
