QVC to Broadcast Live Fashion Show from Bryant Park

QVC is rolling out even more high-octane collaborations with designers like Pamella Roland and Thuy this February, and some of them will be unveiled at a massive fashion show the channel has in the works for Fashion Week.

Designers, of late, have been flocking to both HSN and QVC because, well, stuff sells on HSN and QVC. Naeem Khan, a relatively semi-well-known designer, sold out his entire collection for HSN in ten minutes flat. (Which makes you wonder what the they talked about for the remainder of the program.)

QVC, in particular, has made quite a mark with its collaborations, attracting names like Rachel Zoe and Isaac Mizrahi in 2009. For 2010, the Cut reports that the network will add Pamella Roland, Thuy, Christian Francis Roth, and likely a couple more -- all to be unveiled at New York Fashion Week in February. Even better, QVC plans to host its own fashion show on February 13, where QVC-exclusive collections from Erin Fetherston, Rachel Zoe, Isaac Mizrahi, and Thuy will all parade down the catwalk. The whole affair really does make it seem like retail is outpacing fashion itself.
