We've previously told you about Hold Steady frontman and now solo artist Craig Finn's new single "Honolulu Blues".

We've also discussed his new, "Friday Night Lights"-inspired album titled Clear Heart Full Eyes, which he recorded in Austin, Texas with Spoon/Trail of Dead overseer Mike McCarthy and features backing from members of White Denim, The Heartless Bastards, Phosphorescent and Centro-matic.

But now we can tell you the Finn will play Mercury Lounge on Feb. 29 and Maxwell's on March 1. He's a chatty fellow, so these shows should be fun.

And in case you're worried about all this solo activity, let us remind you that The Hold Steady are playing The Brooklyn Night Bazaar this Saturday with Titus Andronicus.
