Beirut, the Balkan folk-influenced project of precociously worldly Brooklynite Zach Condon, has announced the band’s third album, entitled The Rip Tide
and due out on August 30. The announcement comes on the heels of a new single, “East Harlem,” which you can check out over at Pretty Much Amazing
. The album will be released through Condon’s own Pompeii Records label.
