Matt Damon Hopes to Team Up With Pal Ben Affleck Again

Matt Damon, amid rumors of an on-screen reunion with his childhood pal, said he hopes to work with Ben Affleck again soon.

"I would love to work with him again," Damon told Niteside at the New York Film Festival premiere of the Clint Eastwood-directed film "Hereafter" Sunday night.

"At this point, I've been relegated to emailing him and begging him for jobs," Damon quipped. "He's mister A-list director now."

The duo, who became breakout stars after releasing their 1997 Academy Award-winning film "Good Will Hunting," reportedly had been plotting to collaborate on a flick about the New York Yankees despite their well-known allegiance to the Boston Red Sox.

Damon didn't confirm the rumors of a potential collaboration but he did give a nod to the buzz.

"There's not really a script yet," he said. "[Affleck] mentioned it in an interview recently."

Damon added: "I'd love to work with him a lot more in the next many decades."
