You know an event's going to be good when several of your favorite boutiques are already e-mailing you about it.
Such is the case with the Manhattan Vintage Clothing & Antique Textile Show & Sale (say that five times fast), where some of our favorite vintage purveyors will be hawking their fine wares—and probably hoping to score a few find of their own. Semi-cheesy website notwithstanding, the roster is truly spectacular. Not only are there the bigger vintage mainstays like Tangerine Boutique and What Comes Around Goes Around, there's also more boutique-y New York spots like Dulcinee and Amarcord Vintage. Just think: You might shop at these downtown hotspots, but if you hit up this massive market, you might be able to score your own prized pieces at a fraction of the price.
Local hotspot Poppet was so excited that they even posted a listing on Wonderbloc, where they actually claim the event will host "the biggest and best selection of eye-popping, drool-worthy vintage you will ever find under one roof." So, yeah. Guess you better go.
