LEARNED: The “How I Learned” multi-performer reading series at Happy Ending has mined plenty of mortifying memories for entertainment value (how I learned about sex was a favorite, natch). Tonight’s installment has a somewhat amorphous theme – “how I learned the hard way” – but it should diminish the entertainment value not one bit. .
LADY DI: Diana Krall pretty much singlehandedly owns the entire lady singer/piano player genre these days; her jazzy style and perfectly sloppy cool have put her in a position where she can play around.
