Paddle the Hudson by kayak this weekend.

A-LIST: The sheer amount of star wattage packed into Radio City Music Hall for the Mandela Day Concert might cause a midtown blackout. Tickets are still available to get down with Aretha Franklin, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Wyclef Jean, Queen Latifah, African stars Baaba Maal and Yvonne Chaka Chaka and – yes – first sexpot of France Carla Bruni, all in the name of peace and human rights. Saturday, 8PM.

SIREN SONG: Yes, it’ll be hotter than a subway car in August -- and it may rain and get all swampy -- but we can’t think of a better way to spend Saturday than maxing out our senses at the Village Voice-curated Siren Festival in Coney Island. On the bill: the Shapes, Built to Spill, the Raveonettes (who are genius, btw), Frightened Rabbit, the Oh Sees, Grand Duchy, Monotonix, Micachu (who music critics are comparing to early Beck) and more. Saturday, 1-9PM.

DIP: Cool off with a lazy day of kayaking on the Hudson, courtesy of the Downtown Boathouse. Boats, paddles, life jackets and other necessities are provided; all you’ll need is to wear a bathing suit and know how to swim – they’ll even provide some paddling tips. 72nd Street at the Hudson River on Sunday (and weekends all summer long), 10AM-5PM.

IT’S THE SAME TREE: It’s been 10 years (!) since we soiled our drawers watching ‘The Blair Witch Project,’ the faux doc that redefined the horror flick, and triggered a whole new wave of blurred-reality filmmaking. To celebrate, the IFC will screen (at midnight, no less) the ‘legendary Sundance cut, unavailable and unseen since January, 1999.’ Which is code for ‘even scarier than the version you probably saw.’ Spare knickers recommended. Friday and Saturday at 12AM.

SCOOP: The good people from Van Leeuwen, Knipschildt Chocolate, and Hails Family Farm will be on hand at the Murray’s Cheese Ice Cream Sundae Sunday Social, where just $5 buys you a heavenly dessert and a peek into the process behind it, too. Sunday, 1-4PM.
